I wanted to find a guy I used to know and not have to jump through rings of blazing fire to do so.

I wasn’t willing to hire a gum shoe, or send up flares or enlist the FBI in any way. I wanted to find a guy I used to know and not have it be a big deal.

Thing was, he was a big deal to me. We were best friends throughout college and his name was Scott. Scott and I were immediately joined at the hip back then. We started comedy groups together, we rowed on the crew team together, we argued over whether we like blondes or brunettes best together.

Tex-Mex is a term that is primarily used to describe regional American cuisine in Texas and the Southwestern United States. This type of cuisine blends food products that are available in the United States with the culinary creations of Mexican-Americans which were influenced by the cuisines of Mexico.

Whenever a person eats food that is classified as Tex-Mex, the food may or may not be similar to the original Mexican cuisine. Chili con carne, crispy chalupas, chili con queso, chili gravy, and fajitas are all Tex-Mex inventions that aren’t really common in Mexico. In addition, whenever a restaurant serves chips and salsa or hot sauce as an appetizer, they are following the traditions of Tex-Mex, not Mexico.

Throughout recorded history there has always been alcohol in of some variety,think of this, when you are sitting on a Friday night with your vodka and coke or Pernod and lemonade, does it ever cross your mind how exactly the drink came about. Below is a history of some of the more popular drinks that are enjoyed today such as vodka, gin, Pernod and cachaca.
